when it rains, it pours, literally

i walked in the chilly rain today.  i did not have an umbrella.
my shoes went squish-squish...
it was as though a bucket of water were dumped on me.
my pretty outfit is dripping dry on a hanger...
and i am snug in a dry, batman bathrobe,
with a sleeping pickle snoozing in my lap,
i am warm.

    You make having a bad day in the rain sound like it's almost worth the comfort which follows. ; )

    Someone should comfort Bill O'Reilly and Michael Moore - they're arguing on Fox News at the present moment. They're in bad moods...and they didn't even get rained on. Maybe they can borrow Pickle? Ooh!! Or they should get their own Batman bathrobes!! That'd be great.

    well, i didn't watch the news today, i went and bought (actually my dad paid for it) a sexy new shirt for this weekend. No one has told me yet if they think going out with Jason is a good or bad idea...help, i need friend input so i can manage my crazy, messed up, oh so weird personal life.

    Ah...rainy days indoors. Some Oscar Peterson or Bebel Gilberto, with a cup of tea (and milk) would not be amiss in that scenario either. How have the interviews gone so far?

    haha interviews are going well, i've been so busy. went to a second interview at an IP firm this morning, and they made an offer this afternoon. think i'm going to accept it. i'm baking right now.
